Update your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad via the OTA or iTunes online

As we all know, firmware updates are a fantastic thing. For iOS users, you can easily get the latest system update via the OTA or iTunes online usually. As you read on this article, how should we update online on our iPhone, iPod touch and iPad? That’s what we’re going to talk about this article is.

Update iOS via The OTA

This is no doubt the best updating way, you can directly get the latest update from your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, nothing else needs to be required except for an available Wi-Fi network.

  • Please kindly find the Settings icon on home screen of iOS deviceiOS.Home.Screen
  • Go to Settings menuiOS.Settings
  • Scroll until you find General optioniOS.Settings.General
  • Go to GeneraliOS.Settings.Software-Update
  • Go to Software UpdateiOS.Settings.Software.Update.page
  • Once a new update is available, please tap on Download and Install to download the update, then install it following the on screen prompts

Update iOS via iTunes online

Please make sure you have a computer if you want to use this method, you have also iTunes installed on your computer. Then your computer must be able to access Internet.

  • Open iTunes on your computeriTunes.On.Windows.Desktop
  • Connect your iOS device to computer, your iTunes will recognize your iOS deviceiTunes.Open
  • On iTunes, click on your iOS deviceiPhone.on.iTunes.Summary
  • Click on Check for Update on the right iPhone.on.iTunes.Check.for.Update
  • Once a new update is available, click on Download and Update to download the update, then install it following the on screen promptsiPhone.on.iTunes.Download.and.Update

Well, once your update is finished, your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad will reboot automatically.

By the way, Apple has starting to release the latest iOS 9.3 update when I write this guide.
