Sprint LG G5 LS992 is now receiving the recent Android 7.0 Nougat update which had just been rolled out to Google’s devices. As a Spring LG G5 user, awesome you can finally get how big the updates are, right?

The update moves your software version to new LS992ZV8, build number is NRD90U, Security software version is MDF v2.0 Release 4 and Android Nougat version 7.0. It also includes the latest November Google Android security patches.

In addition to these basic changes, you obviously can get lots of Android Nougat goodness. Such as highlighting the DPI switcher gives you the option of three different settings for DPI, the notification shade looks so pretty, awesome support for multi-window, and more.

The OTA of update is over 1.2GB in size since it is a big update, please ensure your battery is fully charged before download and install OTA.

You can manually check for the update if you have not received the update notification in some period of time.
