The regular February 2017 Android security update is hitting Google devices. Of course, the new update are mostly Android 7.0 Nougat and Android 7.1 Nougat. The new OTA and factory image packages are officially available for supported Nexus and Pixel devices. That just mean you can move your Android security patch level from January 2017 to new February 2017 if you have a certain Google device.

The new month update fixing dozens of bugs. The update labels several different build number, depending on the different device, they are NOF26V for generic Pixel XL and Pixel, NOF26W for Rogers Pixel XL and Pixel, N4F26O for Pixel C, generic Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, NUF26K for Verizon Nexus 6P, NBD91Y for generic Nexus 6, NBD91Z for ATT Nexus 6, NMF26X for Nexus Player, N4F26Q for Nexus 9.

Obviously, if your Google device is supported for receiving new update, you can expect an official roll-out of the OTA in the next days. If you don’t want to wait for the OTA to come to your device, the OTA ZIP or factory image is here.

If your device is running on an unofficial Rom, I suggest you use factory images for fully updating it, but keep in mind that you first need to unlock bootloader.
