(OTA and Factory Images Download) Google has released June 2017 Android security update for Nexus and Pixel devices, still Nougat

The new month has come, it’s time to update your Google Nexus or Google Pixel device, because the Mountain View giant has officially released the June 2017 Android security update for your device. Once you have got the update, the Android security patch level of your device will be moved to June 05, 2017 or later.

According to the Google, the June security update fixes several critical vulnerabilities, especially it fixes a remote attacker of Media Framework which cause memory corruption by using a specially crafted file. And for general bugs, this security update addresses a total of 101 errors.

The new security update is available for the Google Nexus 5X, Google Nexus 6, Google Nexus 6P, Google Nexus 9, Google Nexus Player, Google Pixel C, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.

About Android version and build number, the Android 7.1.2 Nougat is already available for:
the Google Nexus 5X with build N2G47W
the Google Nexus 6P with build N2G47W
the Google Nexus Player with build N2G47X
the Google Pixel C with build N2G47W
the Google Pixel with build NHG47N, NJH34C, NJH47B and NKG47L
the Google Pixel XL with build NHG47N, NJH34C, NJH47B and NKG47L

There are also new firmware based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat for:
the Google Nexus 6 with build N6F27E
the Google Nexus 9 with build N9F27C and N4F27E
