It’s been a few hours since the official release of Android P. Not surprisingly, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are officially compatible with the new Android version.

However, the Mountain View has ended the support for this major Android update to its Nexus and Pixel C devices.

So in question, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C will not receive official Android P update. Actually, as you may know, Google has followed through with its promise to support for the major update of two years on the latest Nexus and Pixel C which were launched on the market in 2015. The security updates are even guaranteed for three years.

In other words, all the owners of the last Nexus who were hoping for a last-minute surprise will be disappointed. However, all the hopes of seeing Android P on these devices don’t fade, because you can go into the various communities to find a custom ROM.Android.P.first.logo
